Hello, hello~ How has June been for you?

Astrological Demands

If you've been following The Lucid Path's Facebook page, you'd know that we are in a period of astro that demands, yes, demands! commitment to transformation. The keywords for the planets involved are rebirth and revolution, and the two planets are in a tense face-off right now.

In fact, these astrological energies started their flirtation in 2008. Between 2010 to 2016, there are periods lasting a few months where the energies intensify, and we all feel the pressure. But 2012 is the first time we are getting an exact hit (on 24 June+19 September), and it is on from now till October. After each period of intense pressure, the pent-up energy will be released, usually in an explosive way.

I love metaphors... skip the next bit if you can't stand them. ;)

Imagine an wooden chair put together with screws. From 2010 (until 2016), there are periods of these screws being tightened and loosened repeatedly. In late June 2012, these screws are tightened to a point where they cannot be tightened anymore, and yet pressure continues to be applied. Come October, the pressure overcomes the internal structure of the screw and thread, and creates cracks around the location of the screw, compromising the stability of the chair. This intense pressure repeats three more times, and with enough pressure, the chair eventually collapses.

You'll see it in world events, over the last few years and coming up - institutions and systems that lack integrity being exposed and crumbling/collapsing (peeps in SG ref: City Harvest case and the timing of it), and on the flip side, celebration of freedom, of the individual, of organic cooperation, of new ways of doing things and being. By the way, this affects everyone, but those of us with our Sun/Moon/Rising Sign in Aries, Cancer, Libra or Capricorn are feeling it the most.

How to survive the pressure cooker

Show the world who YOU are, do things YOUR way. What we are aiming for is Revolutionary Innovation+Individuation in a Consistent and Structured Way. Yes, I know that's paradoxical.

If you don't know who you are, find out. Try something different. Do what you do, but with a twist. Some examples? You can go cliff-diving if you like, or it can be something as simple as taking a different route to the train station every day.

If you know yourself better, accept the bits you're not so keen on, embrace them and/or create the New Me. There is nothing inauthentic about this. Choosing the qualities that you want to embody doesn't make you less "pure" than the next person who didn't make those choices. Evolution and growth by their very nature require change. All the bits you love about yourself, the bits you rejoice in and giggle about, celebrate them and get more rooted in them. I call that being "More Me." :)

The bottom-line, be open to what people say and things that are happening around you, but ultimately, listen to yourself.

July's Astro

So, I thought I'd do a monthly astro thingy for you lovely people on the mailing list. These will show up in different areas of your life, because you all have your own unique natal (birth) chart. It takes a mostly lunar perspective, but will cover any major planetary action too. Try the "action homework" and let me know how it plays out for you - what shows up, what works and what doesn't. I'll eventually share this on the Facebook Page, but you guys are getting this first! Here's the link: Monthly Astro

Forward this to your friends, or better still, ask them to subscribe!

Finally, I'm thinking of starting a blog on the site. Tell me what you would like to see on the site. Drop me an email!

p.s. I've decided to send the newsletters toward the end of the month. This way, you can use the astro to do a bit of planning here and there if you like. It used to annoy me to receive these newsletters on the 1st of the month. ;)

Stormy or sunny days, glorious or lonely nights, I maintain an attitude of gratitude. If I insist on being pessimistic, there is always tomorrow. Today I am blessed. ~ Maya Angelou
